framestash

Framestash privacy policy

Effective date: 10 October 2026

Framestash is a browser extension that saves Instagram posts, stories and highlights into a folder you choose.

No data collection

Framestash collects no data. It sends nothing to its developer or to anyone else, and it sells or shares nothing. There are no accounts.

No analytics or telemetry

Framestash has no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, advertising or remotely loaded code.

What Framestash reads

Framestash reads Instagram pages and media only to save the posts, stories and highlights you ask for into the folder you pick.

What Framestash stores

Your settings, the download queue and the permission to write to your chosen folder stay in the browser’s extension storage on your device. Uninstalling Framestash removes them. Files you saved stay in your folder.

Network requests

Framestash makes network requests only to instagram.com and Instagram’s content delivery network (cdninstagram.com and fbcdn.net). They are made as the Instagram user you’re logged in as, using your own session, just as if you browsed those pages yourself. Instagram’s privacy policy covers those requests.

Changes

Any change to this policy updates the effective date above.
